The B&M Pro Gate Auto Shifter is engineered for high-performance racing applications, offering a compact and lightweight design with a 10-gauge black oxide-coated 304 stainless steel base and a heavy-duty 303 stainless steel shift pin for enhanced durability. This model includes a reverse lockout feature and a rear-exit cable, specifically designed for GM three-speed automatic transmissions with forward-pattern valve bodies. The 1018 steel shift stick is equipped with a black B&M pistol grip, while the external gate plate is constructed from black oxide-coated 11-gauge 304 stainless steel for added strength. The 3-speed gated forward shift pattern provides a staggered shift pattern with positive stops between each gear, ensuring easy and precise shifts. Additional features include thick injection-molded nylon side covers with a knurled texture and the B&M Pro Gate logo on both sides. These covers are removable, allowing access to the virtually maintenance-free shifter sub-assembly, which is ideal for off-road racing as it prevents dirt from affecting shift performance. The rear exit cable design includes a black 5-ft Super Duty race shifter cable, along with a cable bracket, shift lever, and all necessary hardware for straightforward installation.
